This time, we poured the juice into larger cups. It made the time of remembrance take longer and I think that was the best part about it. The communion wasn't a side note in the middle of all the other worship. It was the worship for the night. Here are some pics on how we set it up. We also set up our offering basket as a station that you can go to at any time during the worship gathering since we believe it is an expression of worship as well.

I really enjoy the way we receive the tithes and offerings (I attend Grace Park where Jason is the pastor).
On a recent mission trip to Nicaragua (hopefully our first of many), my wife and I noticed the way they collected tithes and offerings. Instead of "passing the plate" they walked to the front of the church and laid their offerings on the altar. It really caught our attention. We talked about the added meaning and how we would love to see that back in the states but doubted we ever would. When Jason let us know how Grace Park would receive the offering we were pleasantly surprised. It was one of the ways that God has affirmed to us that we are at Grace Park as part of His plan.
